House of Kayos Tattoo Studio
By booking an appointment, visiting the studio, or receiving services from House of Kayos, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. About Us
House of Kayos is a private, independent tattoo studio based in Kettering, UK, owned and operated by Kay Carter. All tattoo services are provided by the studio’s lead and sole artist unless otherwise stated.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo at House of Kayos.
Valid photo ID may be requested at any time.
No exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
3. Booking & Appointments
All appointments must be booked in advance via the website, social media, or direct contact.
Submitting a booking enquiry does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed by House of Kayos.
Appointment dates and times are subject to availability.
Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or cancellation.
4. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Deposits are deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
Deposits cover design time and appointment reservation.
Deposits are non-transferable to another client.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in loss of deposit.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in full loss of deposit.
House of Kayos reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Pricing & Payments
Prices are quoted based on size, placement, detail, and session time.
Final pricing may vary if the design or scope changes.
Payment is due in full on the day of the appointment, minus any deposit already paid.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
7. Design & Artistic Style
All tattoos are custom-designed unless otherwise agreed.
Design previews may not be provided in advance.
Minor changes can be made on the day of the appointment.
Significant design changes may require rebooking and a new deposit.
By booking, you acknowledge and accept the artist’s style and creative interpretation.
8. Health & Medical Disclosure
You must disclose any medical conditions, skin conditions, allergies, medications, or pregnancy before your appointment.
House of Kayos reserves the right to refuse service if a tattoo may pose a health risk.
You confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
9. Right to Refuse Service
House of Kayos reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Service may also be refused if behaviour is disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate.
Failure to follow aftercare or studio instructions may result in refusal of service.
Requests for offensive, hateful, or inappropriate designs will not be accepted.
10. Aftercare & Responsibility
Full aftercare instructions will be provided.
Proper aftercare is your responsibility.
House of Kayos is not responsible for healing issues caused by failure to follow aftercare advice.
Touch-ups, if offered, are subject to studio policy and healing outcome.
11. Photography & Promotion
The studio may photograph or video completed tattoos for portfolio, social media, or promotional use.
By receiving a tattoo, you consent to this use unless stated otherwise in writing prior to your appointment.
12. Studio Environment
House of Kayos operates a one-to-one, private studio.
Guests may be restricted depending on space, safety, and comfort.
Children and pets are not permitted unless agreed in advance.
13. Liability
Tattoos are a permanent body modification.
By proceeding, you accept full responsibility for your decision.
House of Kayos is not liable for dissatisfaction due to personal taste or healed appearance.
14. Changes to These Terms
House of Kayos reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The most current version will always be available on the website.
